State Archers of Califonia Board Elections

Elections for SAC Board Members will take place during the CA State Outdoor There are seven positions available for Board members.
The Board needs people willing to participate at three Board meetings per year (CA State Indoor, CA State Outdoor and PAC Coast ), and represent interests of all California archers. Each position lasts three years and comes with a paid NAA membership.
If you would like to have your name added to the ballot, please log onto the SAC web site and tell your fellow members about yourself.
The Election Committee will compile a ballot of all candidates . The Ballot will be placed on the SAC web site on 06/01/13.
Voting will be done via email (from 06/01/13 - 06/14/13) no email votes will be counted after midnight. In person paper ballots will be handed out on 06/15/13, the first day of at the State Outdoor. Results will be announced on 06/16/13 during the lunch break.

The weather was fantastic and the crew was awesome! In record time the Golden State Archers Club along side the Wilderness Golden State JOAD parents rebaled the archery range at Discovery Park in Sacramento.
Farewell Great Lady -- Aletha Donathan

Aletha Donathan lost her battle with cancer on Saturday April 13th. Aletha was Director of the El Dorado Archers JOAD program in Long Beach CA, level 4 NTS coach, long time State Archers of California board member, current holder of all the women's state crossbow records, archery fan, lace-maker, rose parade float decorator, daughter, mother, grandmother, friend, and one of the nicest people you will ever meet. A great lady.

Need help Fellow Archers and Park lovers,
Please sign the petition in the link below. The Panama Project which is building the NEW Morley field Archery Range has been stopped due to a city law. We are petitioning the city council to change that law so we can continue the Panama project and thus cintinue rhe new archery range in San Diego. Please be prompt. We need this done fast.
